Hi Rabbi Raskin, I'm a very late bloomer to things Jewish. My wife Patricia, for a Birthday present, bought me 2 e-books, both on the language of Hebrew alephbet. Which took me upon a journey, learning things about the alephbet. Which in turn, led me to various websites. One being your website, where I engrossed myself in the Hebrew alephbet. Learning what Aleph meant, how it's structure works. How it works as a numerical system, as well as its ability to create words from its simple pictorial form, paleo Hebrew. I marvelled at the precision the Hebrew alephbet has. With the gematria of the words,and the meaning of the words, the construction of the words. How awesome is G-d. I think that אדם
Is a wonder, as Father and Mother are in Adam. Mother Emma, in Hebrew, is אמא
1 + 40 + 1 = 42
Father in Hebrew, is אב
1 + 2 = 3

Mother + Father = 45

Adam = 45.
אדם
1 + 4 + 40 = 45.

So where was Mother and Father? In Adam. What an amazing language Rabbi Raskin.

Dear Rabbi Raskin, Rosh Sofer here, I am here at my house, sitting on a lazy chair, in my front porch. I received your reply message. I was 56 years old when my wife bought me the e-books on the Hebrew alphabet. So to this man, it was very difficult to understand the letters, l am very infantile to the language, and understand some words now. 2 words I have come to know and understand are Golah and Geulah. So amazing, if you subtract 1 letter from Geulah, it reverts to Golah גולה, but if you add א Geulah
גאולה very interesting, that the letter א
can change exile to redemption. The man Moshe is the man G-d chose to be a redeemer, to the people of Israel, who were in Golah, interesting that Moshe's name backwards spells Ha Shem. Was G-d trying to reveal to His people something hidden in Moshe's name? I have read the Holy Bible, many times, but, I must say, that I am still infant in many respects. Rosh Sofer, is my name revealed in Hebrew, but I was born Ross Owen Scrivener. Thank you. Reply

Every year, i some how I always celabrate Sukot the most. And get invited for lunch in a Jewish family or in a Synagogue . I fell God protects me and leads me. Reply
