Carmel Academy Presents Three-Part Lecture Series With Rabbi Shai Held

Carmel Academy Presents Three-Part Lecture Series With Rabbi Shai Held

Named by “Newsweek” as one of the most influential rabbis in America, don’t miss the chance to hear Rabbi Shai Held of Mechon Hadar right here in Greenwich! Carmel Academy is thrilled to announce its partnership with Mechon Hadar and proudly presents a three-part, intellectually stimulating lecture series exploring how Jewish texts can help us answer some of life’s biggest questions. Rabbi Shai Held’s first lecture, “Flipping Self-Worth On Its Head: A Revolutionary Jewish Approach to Human Dignity and Value” will take place December 10th, 7:30 p.m. at Carmel Academy, 270 Lake Avenue, Greenwich.  The lecture will delve into how relationships with ourselves and others can be enhanced by taking ultimate worth seriously. By exploring texts on human value, Rabbi Held will construct a Jewish approach to self-worth -- and ask how parents can make this approach real in their children's lives. Open to the community at no cost. For more information and to register for one or all of the series’ lectures visit
